ABOUT COLLAGE CLIQUE

I started Collage Clique in 2022 to try and bring my love of the medium to the local community and since then we've had more than one hundred people join us for some hands-on, thoughtful art-making at various locations throughout Tampa Bay. Our gatherings can be a great way to channel your creative energy, get inspiration and learn from other artists, spend mindful time without digital distractions, share, brainstorm and refine your ideas, make some new contacts and maybe a few friends.
I've been working as a collage artist since 2010 and been leading residencies and workshops for Kolaj Institute since 2019. I began teaching collage workshops at the Morean Arts Center, St. Petersburg in 2022. After attending the annual, international "Kolaj Fest" in New Orleans since 2018, and meeting so many great artists who had an active local collage collective in their town, I decided we needed one in Tampa Bay. Since then I've hosted our free "Meet-up & Cut-up" gatherings monthly at different locations including Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Largo, Ybor City, Gulfport, Safety Harbor, etc... After almost three years we'll be adding a Membership option for those more dedicated artists and those interested in helping support the continuation and perseverance of our little club of cut-ups. There are Members Shows, workshops and other surprises in store, but the Free Meet-ups won't stop any time soon.
